Have an insight into the Angkorian Empire civilization in Siemreap. Visit the old market and a floating village on the Tonle Sap. Climb up mountain temple of Preah Vihear. Today drive to Angkor Thom – the masterpiece of King Jayavarman VII we visit Bayon Temple. We explore Baphuon Temple, once of the most beautiful temples at Angkor, dating from the reign of Uditayavarman 1 in the 11th century, Terrace of the Leper King, Terrace of Elephants, originally used as a viewing gallery for the king to preside over parades, performances and traditional sports.
Continue to Ta Prohm `Tomb Raider` fame and the mother of all temples, Angkor Wat – said to be the world’s largest religious building, this temple is the perfect fusion of symbolism and symmetry and a source of pride and strength to all Khmers.
Enjoy one hour foot massage and a short walking tour at busy pub streets where you can stop for cool drinks or shopping at Angkor Night Market.
Overnight in Siem Reap.
Visit a floating village on the Tonle Sap where we can experience a unique lifestyle. The lake is the largest fresh water in Southeast Asia and home to roughly 700 fishing families together with a diversity of fish, snakes, crocodiles, turtles and otters.
Dinner with Apsara Dance show at local restaurant. Chance to see the finest dance show and the pride of Khmer dance performance.
Overnight in Siem Reap.
We leave Siem Reap and head north to the mountainous border, the last Khmer Rouge outpost near Anlong Veng, where we visit the home of the former military Ta Mok. Explore the impressive hill temple Preah Vihear. We take a winding road to the top of Preah Vihear and enjoy a breathtaking view.

We leave the historical, cultural and temple-rich part of the country to get to know the larger Mekong regions. On one of the newest and most remote roads towards Preah Rumkel, we visit Sopheakmet Waterfall. Enjoy traditional lunch cooked by a local family. Then we take a boat trip to explore most beautiful part of the Mekong stretching from border to Laos to Stung Treng – a paradise for endangered mammals, birds and fishes with a unique, flooded forest system that is a photographer’s dream.
Overnight in Stung Treng.
We leave Stung Treng on Highway 7 for Kratie. We reach Kampi, one of the many deep pools where the rare river dolphins gather to feed. We board a local boat and cruise the mighty Mekong for a chance to see these gentle mammals. After having a stunning panoramic view of countryside and the Mekong Delta from Phnom Sambok mountain we take a local ferry to Koh Trong. We will see farms of famous grapefruits and other seasonal fruits and vegetable as well as floating village. Spend couple of hours cycling around the island through many rural villages. There are opportunities to try local productions such as rice whisky and rice noodles.
Overnight in Koh Trung (Kratie).
Head to Phnom Penh, stopover at Skuon, affectionately known as ‘Spiderville’, where you may sample the local delicacy of deep fried tarantula.

Cambodia is quite warm all year round, with two distinct seasons, dry (hot) and monsoon (cool).

November to February is the best time to visit Cambodia, specifically December and January.
It’s approximately 8-9 hours in total per day.
Temperatures vary depending on the season, so we recommend that you wear light clothing and pack a jacket in case of falling temperatures in the winter. We do not recommend wearing shorts or sleeveless shirts on days visiting pagodas. We trust you can make your own judgement in season. For footwear, we recommend comfortable walking shoes.
Yes and no. If you are a Southeast Asian citizen, you are visa exempted. Others must require a visa before coming to Cambodia. Prepare in advance a passport photo and 30$US cash with you. Your visa will be granted right upon your arrival at Siemreap Airport.
Before traveling to Cambodia, be sure to purchase insurance for your trip. Two months before you leave, you should also consult your doctor or local travel clinic for the latest information on health risks in Cambodia and to receive any vaccinations you may need.
Pregnant women should consult their doctors for specialized advice. Anti-malarial drugs and many diarrhea treatments are not completely safe during pregnancy.
