To experience the diversity of Vietnam with a very limited amount of time and avoid long distance overland travel, we explore the charming city of Hanoi, wonderful HaLong Bay and we fly to Danang on Vietnam’s central coast. We have a walking tour in the treasure old town of Hoi An before flying south to Saigon and her surrounds, including the Cu Chi tunnels and the Mekong Delta. The journey ends in Saigon.

Itinerary:

Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport. Meet our guide and transfer to our hotel.
You will have time to relax at your hotel and adjust to the pace of Hanoi Capital – one of Asia’s most enchanting cities, full of culture, history and the engaging contrast of a rapidly developing and deeply traditional society.

Today we explore Hanoi, a city filled with beautiful tree lined boulevards, French villas and natural lakes.  Our city tour includes visits to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, stilt house and museum, One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Temple of Literature, a walking tour of the Old Quarter and markets, Hoan Kiem Lake. This evening enjoy a performance of the famous Water Puppets.
Today we travel to Halong Bay. We cruise through spectacular scenery where thousands of islands rise from the serene emerald sea. Our lunch today consists of freshly caught seafood. After our cruise we travel back to Hanoi through the eye-catching rural countryside of the Red River Delta.
This morning we board our flight to Danang and transfer to the UNESCO listed town of Hoi An stopping at the Danang’s panoramic view Linh Ung Pagoda and China Beach en route. Once a merchant trading port, Hoi An is a mixture of Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and French architecture and is a real treasure of Vietnam. We undertake a walking tour of the old parts of Hoi An. We visit old homes still lived in by descendants of the original merchants, the Japanese Bridge, Hoi An market and the local Chinese pagoda. This afternoon is free so you have time to visit the tailors for which this town is known and soak up the charming atmosphere of the Hoi An and the Thu Bon River at a riverside cafe.
Today we fly Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival we will drive outskirt of the city to have an in depth look at the determination and ingenuity of the Vietnamese and explore the famous Cu Chi tunnels. In the afternoon we take a sightseeing tour of the city visiting Ben Thanh Market, the Presidential Palace and War Museum.
Explore the famous Mekong Delta, a region nestled along the river and dotted with rice paddies and fruit plantations. We take a boat trip to the local floating markets, experiencing the rural atmosphere with the locals.
Today we pack and are transferred to the airport to board our flight.
